2026 Lunar New Year Tết Festival and Parade: Mardi Gras and Asian Cajun Village

Join us for the 2026 Lunar New Year Tết Festival & Parade on Valentine’s Day weekend as we welcome the Year of the Horse, but with an added twist: Mardi Gras & Asian Cajun Village! This FREE ADMISSION experience will introduce a groundbreaking fusion of Lunar New Year traditions with Mardi Gras elements, including a spectacular parade and a world record-attempting Second Line Parade. Enjoy delicious Vietnamese and Asian Cajun–inspired cuisine, carnival rides, tug-of-war games, lion dancers, live performances from both New Orleans and Asian American traditions, and the Mrs. Vietnam NorCal Sacramento Pageant. This family-friendly community event welcomes over 10,000 attendees for two days of culture, community, and celebration! This is a non-profit event hosted by volunteers of the Vietnamese community (cPALSs, VACOS, and NVCC).
